Make Money Online with Hubpages
It has been 22 days since I started with my make money online with Hubpages experiment and I have to disclose many things about it, so read on friends.
- I started this experiment with a goal to see if there are other ways to make money online with articles.
- Working on Hubpages was definitely a very pleasing experience because there are a lot of tools that you can count on to view your pace and journey.
- With Hubscore I could easily determine the popularity of my Hubs or articles.
- Creating Hubs is a very easy task and adding some great advertisements from Amazon and Ebay is absolutely a breeze.
- However, I am not going to discuss all of that here. That was just to get us started with Hubpages.
After 22 Days
- Due to various reasons I could only publish 14 Hubs in these 22 days and that was not going to do any good to me.
- However, with Hubpages I could see my hubs being visited from the very first hour after publishing my hub.
- I sent some links from Hubpages to my blog in order to increase my blog’s visibility and I was glad to see that it worked and my traffic strengthened up from before.
- As far as the money goes, I made only $0.32 from one click (adsense click) on my hub, ‘Apple iPad 2 Release Date’.
- That may sound very less (and it is) but the amount of work that I put (I didn’t actually made any effort) I am still happy with that.
- Promoting is a must for articles and traffic and as you can see that I could only post 14 articles in 22 days, I could not find any time to promote my hubs.
- That said, Hubpages still promoted my content on their own. Due to their high Alexa Rank and Page Rank, some of my not-so-great articles did well too. So I am not disappointed.
16 Days to go
- I have 16 more days to go and yet to achieve a very hard goal of posting 150 articles till then.
- I know I can do this because I am asking for help from my mates and I know that I can get them to write at least 30 articles and I’ll do the rest.
- So, I am not saying that I am backing down from my Experiment, but I will work even harder to achieve it.
- My hubs are focused heavily on technology and some are health related. So today, (it’s 3:42 A.M. and it’s a very dark night here), I’ll open Google Trends and look for topics to write about.
- I hope that you’ll follow through this link to learn, how to write articles using Google Trends? (I’ll update it soon).
- And as far as my hopes go, I have a higher goal of writing 300 hubs by December 2010 and that’s not impossible.

Using Hubpages for Quality Backlinks

Oh yeah Sir! Hubpages is a great choice for quality backlinks and as well as a nice tool to promote your blog. I realised it when I started working on it.
To be very clear, I have only starting working 2 days ago and I’ve already had so many visits redirected by my hubpages articles.
If you are familiar with hubpages then you know this as well that if you get a hubscore of 75 or more than all your nofollow links turn into dofollow and I am just waiting for that to happen.
Hubscore is not that hard to achieve, all you need to do is write a good quality article, link it to some other hubbers (but relevance is important), recieve some good reviews on your article (not in your hands by an chance) and wait for the score to rise.
Also, when that happens (i mean when you get to 75 or more) the blog (your blog) recieves some quality link juice and ranks well in google search results and acts quite well on other SERPs (search engine results pages). So I am just trying to write as much as I can and trying not to sacrifice the quality.
The whole test with hubpages is going to take 39 days from now and I still have a lot to do.
Are you wondering that I am not talking about article marketing techniques from article directories like Ezine Articles, Go Articles, etc., that’s because they don’t help you make money while you promote your blog as well.
The best part is, a nice income boost can be added to both Adsense and Amazon Affiliate, if you are already using them. So, how about you join me with my hubpages experiment. Just comment and I’ll get to you on Hubpages for sure.
